Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor for a confidential beverage manufacturer in the Roanoke area. This night-shift role leads QA personnel on the production floor and in the laboratory to ensure products meet food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Formación

• Associate degree or equivalent education in biology, chemistry, food science, health sciences or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience in QA/manufacturing.
• Manufacturing experience and knowledge of food industry practices.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and testing in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, math and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication, organization and team development skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced production setting.
• Overnight schedule availability with flexibility for additional coverage.

Responsabilidades

• Lead QA personnel on the production floor and in the laboratory.
• Set daily priorities and communicate expectations for quality, safety, and timely completion.
• Develop team members through coaching, training and feedback.
• Collaborate with Production and other departments to address quality concerns.
• Oversee quality management programs, documentation, training, and internal audits.
• Support regulatory, certification, customer, and product specifications.
• Review laboratory results, investigate exceptions, and identify trends.
• Recommend process improvements based on data and quality performance.
• Prepare for and assist with audits and assessments.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts to strengthen product quality and customer satisfaction.
