Qualifications

• BCLS (AHA) certification required or to be obtained upon hire.
• LPS certification preferred or must obtain prior to commencement.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients in the emergency department and throughout the unit, ensuring placement according to age and needs.
• Provides crisis intervention and makes appropriate referrals when needed.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses and staff within a multidisciplinary team.
