Job summary

CRF Behavioral Health in Oceanside is seeking a part-time RN for on-site crisis care. The role includes crisis intervention, psychiatric assessments, medication support, and collaboration with prescribers. You will document care in the county EHR and provide education to clients and families.

Requires CA RN license, BLS, and at least 1 year in a mental health setting. Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays evenings, with a weekend shift differential.

Qualifications

• California RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year experience with mental health population preferred.
• Ability to pass criminal/background clearance.
• Stairs navigation in two-story building; no elevator.

Responsibilities

• Assist crisis intervention, psychiatric assessments, case management, and medication support.
• Consult with prescriber for medication orders and guidance for treatment.
• Administer medications as ordered by the prescriber.
• Monitor clients’ physical and psychiatric condition and response to treatment.
• Maintain medication inventory and storage per guidelines.
• Sign medical/nursing documents using county designated EHR.
• Provide health education and medication instructions to clients and families.
• Provide services in the community or clients’ home.
