Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Production Superintendent – Nights to direct production and processing supervisors across departments on a single night shift, ensuring cost-effective, on-time manufacture of quality products.

You will establish shift schedules, coordinate with plant functions, train and motivate staff, and drive improvements in production flow while maintaining compliance with USDA regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of directly related experience.
• 3-5 years of supervisory training experience preferred.
• Knowledge of USDA regulations.
• Strong diplomacy and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs production operations to meet quality and cost standards.
• Sets shift schedules and ensures material requisition and maintenance.
• Coordinates with plant functions to achieve output and quality.
• Trains and motivates the labor force to meet schedules.
• Recommends process improvements and equipment modifications.
