Nature’s Bakery in Carson City, NV seeks a shift supervisor to lead a 3rd shift (9:00pm-5:30am, Mon-Fri) with overtime as needed. You will maximize line efficiencies, train staff, and ensure GMP, OSHA, and quality standards are met, aiming to minimize waste and optimize production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Follow quality standards, safety rules, and operating instructions.
• Adhere to GMP and efficiency standards.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Solid math skills to interpret results.
• Detail-oriented with emphasis on quality.
• Skilled at planning and organizing machinery and personnel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned personnel and ensure safety and quality.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas using Lean practices.
• Ensure OSHA guidelines are followed and report hazards.
• Provide safety training on forklift and lock-out/tag-out.
• Plan shift labor, materials, WIP, and production needs.
• Complete scheduled production audits and paperwork accuracy.
• Verify quality tests and maintain KPI visuals.
• Control direct labor costs and minimize overtime.
• Support ERP functions and inventory accuracy.
• Drive Lean initiatives and maintain a positive culture.
