Job summary

Nature's Bakery in Carson City, NV is seeking a shift supervisor for 3rd shift (9:00pm-5:30am) to oversee production, ensure food safety and quality, and drive lean improvements. Responsibilities include coaching staff, maintaining GMP compliance, and coordinating labor and materials to meet schedules.

Overtime may be required with a $1.50/hr shift differential for eligible shifts. The role emphasizes training, daily feedback, and maintaining high line efficiency while minimizing scrap.

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership and supervision skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to plan, organize and schedule labor and materials.
• Knowledge of GMP, OSHA guidelines and Lean Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned personnel and ensure safety, quality and sanitation standards.
• Maintain housekeeping and adherence to GMP and safety procedures.
• Train, coach and provide daily feedback to staff to improve line efficiency.
• Plan labor, materials and workflow to meet production schedules and minimize waste.
• Execute pre-shift hand-offs, audits, and KPI tracking; monitor ERP functions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support corporate Lean programs.
