Job summary

Nature's Bakery is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee production teams, uphold food safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement under the guidance of the Director of Site Operations.

The role coordinates with Production, Quality, Safety, Maintenance, and other functions to meet schedules, reduce waste, and maximize line efficiency while supervising and coaching staff for performance and development.

Qualifications

• Adherence to safety, GMP and efficiency standards
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish
• Must have solid math skills with the ability to interpret results
• Sound mechanical aptitude to identify issues affecting quality or throughput and allocate resources for repair
• Strong attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met at all times
• Excellent problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Maintains the work area neat, safe and orderly using Lean Manufacturing techniques and complies with GMP
• Follows OSHA guidelines and lock-out/tag-out procedures
• Ensures quality tests are performed and results recorded; conducts visual inspections to address issues
• Manages raw material scrap reduction and weight control; eliminates hold product
