Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking a Night Shift Process Trainer to train and coach employees on safe setup, operation, and monitoring of production machinery. You will provide hands-on instruction, guidance, and feedback to develop skills for safe operation, quality maintenance, and meeting customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with heavy manufacturing and/or assembly equipment.
• Working knowledge of mathematical functions.
• Basic understanding of computer equipment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Trains machine operators to secure and maintain materials and supplies for production according to work orders and schedules.
• Instructs operators on proper work area setup and preparation before production activities.
• Teaches safe and efficient machine operation and feeding techniques.
• Coaches operators on monitoring equipment performance and product quality.
• Trains employees on handling, stacking, labeling, and protection of finished products.
• Instructs on safe use of hand tools and reporting maintenance or safety concerns.
• Ensures housekeeping and safety compliance throughout shifts.
• Guides pre-shift inspections and proper reporting of issues.
• Trains on completing production records and quality inspection procedures.
