Qualifications

• BRPT registration required.
• One to three years of polysomnography experience.
• Some college coursework preferable.
• CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of sleep staging and age-specific care from neonatal to geriatric.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and analyzes patient information.
• Collects, analyzes and integrates patient information to identify needs and determine testing parameters.
• Explains pre-testing, testing, and post-testing procedures to patient.
• Obtains reports from night techs in absence of chief technologist.
