Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred; phlebotomy course or experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred or must obtain as required by state or facility.

Responsibilities

• Proficiently perform phlebotomy on diverse patient populations.
• Accurately label specimens and ensure proper transport and processing.
• Register patients, handle LIS/HIS tasks, and support specimen workflow.
• Adhere to safety, infection control protocols and patient privacy guidelines.
• Assist with data entry, ordering, and patient education as needed.
