Job summary

You will document properly in the system, maintain patient confidentiality, and interact courteously with patients, staff and visitors using AIDET to reassure and inform.

The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service, and the ability to prioritize tasks while supporting the laboratory's safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Completion of certified phlebotomy program (preferred).
• CPR certification (required).
• Phlebotomy externship or 1 year of phlebotomy experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy procedures accurately within established turn‑around times.
• Transports specimens to the laboratory in a timely manner.
• Completes documentation for medical necessity and adheres to safety standards.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and demonstrates professional communication with staff and patients.
