Qualifications

• 0-2 years phlebotomy experience.
• Ability to perform venipuncture and capillary draws.
• Knowledge of patient identification, specimen handling and lab testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs venipuncture and capillary blood collection (finger and heel sticks) following policies to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensures positive patient identification and proper bedside labeling to prevent errors.
• Prepares, transports, and packages specimens to the laboratory while maintaining safety protocols.
