Amazon Inc. is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to ensure safe, efficient access to medications and provide virtual consultations as part of a fast-paced, patient-centered team.

This role emphasizes accuracy in prescription verification, dosage review, and regulatory compliance. The staff pharmacist will oversee fulfillment processes using automated systems (Parata Max2), manage refrigerated items, and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to sustain high-quality service while adhering to safety

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Science, or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Doctor of Pharmacy.
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws and federal/state regulations concerning patient care.
• Proficiency with basic computer functions and pharmacy systems.
• Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of employment.

Aufgaben

• Perform clinical data review, prescription verification, and virtual patient consultations per regulations.
• Manage end-to-end prescription fulfillment, including dispensing using automated systems and manual fill.
• Package and prepare prescriptions for shipment, including refrigerated and bulk items.
• Maintain quality standards and safety protocols while meeting CPT and production targets.
• Split time between verification and fulfillment to match operational needs.
• Conduct DUR and ensure documentation in pharmacy systems.
• Monitor inventory and collaborate with technicians to maintain workflow.
• Identify and report quality or safety concerns in compliance with regulations.
• Complete daily tasks including processing returns, rejects, substitutions, and approvals.
