Amazon is seeking a Staff Pharmacist in Ohio to lead clinical reviews, verify prescriptions, and provide virtual consultations while ensuring regulatory compliance. The role includes handling fulfillment, packaging, and inventory management in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with pharmacy technicians and fellow pharmacists to maintain accurate records, support continuous improvement, and uphold high safety standards. A licensed pharmacist with strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or PharmD
• Active pharmacist license in your state
• Proficient with basic computer functions and pharmacy systems
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws and state/federal regulations

Responsabilités

• Perform clinical data review, prescription verification, and virtual patient consultations in compliance with regulations
• Manage end-to-end prescription fulfillment, including dispensing meds with automated systems and manual filling
• Package and prepare prescriptions for shipment or site injections, including refrigerated and bulk items
• Maintain quality standards and safety protocols while meeting CPT and production targets
• Split time between verification and fulfillment based on operations and volume
• Perform DUR and ensure accurate documentation in pharmacy systems
• Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory
• Collaborate with technicians and other pharmacists to maintain workflow
• Demonstrate attention to detail and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Support operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
• Identify and report quality or safety concerns per regulatory requirements
• Complete daily tasks including returns, medication rejections, substitutions, and canister approvals
