Job summary

Amazon Inc. in PA is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to oversee clinical data review, prescription verification, and virtual patient consultations in compliance with regulations.

You will manage end-to-end prescription fulfillment and work with technicians to ensure timely, accurate dispensing. In this fast-paced role, you’ll handle CPT targets, DUR reviews, inventory management, and continuous process improvements, with shifts up to 12 hours during peak demands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
• Active pharmacist license in your state of employment.
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws and federal/state regulations.
• Proficiency with basic computer functions and pharmacy systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical data review, prescription verification, and virtual patient consultations.
• Manage end-to-end prescription fulfillment and dispensing.
• Package and prepare prescriptions for shipment, including refrigerated items.
• Maintain quality standards and safety protocols while meeting CPT targets.
• Split time between prescription verification and fulfillment based on needs.
• Perform DUR and ensure accurate documentation in pharmacy systems.
• Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory compliantly.
• Collaborate with technicians and pharmacists to maintain workflow.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and adapt to changing priorities.
