BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. seeks a Dispatcher Perishables to manage Sun-Weds 4pm-2:30am dispatch for Rocky Hill, CT. You will monitor all loads under dispatch authority to ensure safe and on-time delivery to customers, vendors, and distribution centers.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, DOT Hours of Service knowledge, and strong communication and computer skills. It offers weekly pay, benefits, and flexibility for nights and overtime.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of DOT Hours of Service.
• Ability to read conventional and electronic mapping.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Interact cooperatively and professionally with team members, supervisors, customers, and vendors.
• Prepare and maintain dispatch schedules and documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with carriers, vendors, and customers.
• Monitor loads for on-time service and update customers and vendors as necessary.
• Maintain transportation management system records and documentation.
• Assist in monitoring driver hours of service to avoid DOT violations.
• Coordinate with 3rd party providers to procure transportation services.
• Maintain equipment availability lists and assist with incident reporting.
