Job summary

ClearSky Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide direct, non-invasive bedside care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will assist with daily living activities and support the nursing team to ensure patient comfort and safety.

The role emphasizes infection prevention, strong communication, and teamwork in a hospital environment. A high school diploma or GED and current BLS are required or strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent strongly preferred.
• 2 years of experience in inpatient hospital setting preferred.
• Current BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct, non-invasive bedside care under RN supervision.
• Records vital signs, intake/output, weights, and specimen collections as required.
• Transfers patients using proper body mechanics and safe handling.
• Maintains clean, safe patient rooms and beds; prepares units for admissions.
• Responds to patient and family calls and requests promptly and professionally.
• Adheres to infection prevention standards and safety policies.
