Job summary

ClearSky Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide direct, non-invasive bedside care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will perform vital signs, intake and output, assist with activities of daily living, and help maintain a safe, clean patient environment.

The role requires knowledge of infection prevention, strong communication, and the ability to respond to patient needs promptly. Some shifts may require standby during weather or staffing emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 2 years of inpatient hospital experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care: bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming.
• Record vital signs, intake/output, weights and specimens.
• Assist transfers using proper body mechanics.
• Report changes to nursing staff and maintain a clean, safe unit.
• Respond to patient and family calls and manage environment for comfort.
