Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or strongly preferred.
• 2 years of experience in inpatient hospital setting preferred.
• Current BLS required.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and proper body mechanics.
• Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and complete complex tasks.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care (bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming).
• Record vital signs, intake/output, weights, and specimen collections.
• Assist transfers using proper body mechanics and safe handling.
• Report changes to nursing staff.
• Prepare units, rooms, and beds for admissions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.
