Job summary

Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Certified Patient Care Assistant to join the Surgical PCU team on a full-time night shift. The role provides routine patient care, data collection, and essential unit support to promote comfort and safety.

On the Progressive Care Unit, you’ll gain cardiac training and high‑acuity experience in ICU, ED, and OR settings, with weekend/holiday rotations and differential pay for night shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Licensed CNA in state of practice required.
• Prior medical clerical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care to promote comfort and plan of care.
• Document vital signs and patient data in medical records.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Perform procedures and use equipment under supervision of licensed staff.
• Support unit operations and communication across the care team.
• Maintain supply levels and assist with charting and orders.
