Job summary

Banner Health's University Medical Center Phoenix is seeking a General PCU Registered Nurse for night shifts. You will care for patients recovering from surgery, with stable cardiac conditions or respiratory needs, in a unit with a 1:4 ratio and a collaborative team approach.

The role supports a Nursing Clinical Ladder Program and emphasizes learning across nursing, physicians, and therapies, within a strong team culture that values growth and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Related ongoing education or certifications may be required based on area of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care.
• Develop and adjust care plans with input from patient, family and health team.
• Coordinate and supervise care, ensuring communication among caregivers.
