Hospital Sisters Health System is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our Regional Float team, providing bedside care and supporting our nursing staff in a hospital setting. The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-focused care with opportunities to cover across sister ministries in Illinois.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, a CNA or PCT certification, and BLS within 30 days of hire, with at least 1 year of acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of experience in acute care setting preferred.
• CNA or PCT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside patient care and support to nursing staff.
• Work 36 hrs/week on night shift (7pm–7am).
• Assist with coverage at sister HSHS ministries in Southern IL when needed.
