Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• At hire, must meet one of: CNA Certification in Utah or CNA training completion.
• CNA certification must be obtained within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care (toileting, bathing, linen changes, comfort measures).
• Record patient care data and report changes promptly.
• May perform telemetry and monitor patients as required.
• Transport medications to RN and collaborate with care team.
• Possibly perform Health Unit Coordinator duties (phones, orders, unit records).
• Assist in implementing plan of care and maintain a safe environment.
