Trinity Health Livingston - Brighton, MI is seeking a part-time Patient Care Technician (PCT). Under RN supervision, the PCT provides direct patient care, supports age-appropriate and culturally sensitive needs, and helps maintain a safe, healing environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of direct care experience or completion of CENA/PCT/MA/EMT, and completion of BSN fundamentals for student nurses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year direct care experience or completion of CENA/PCT/MA/EMT.
• Student nurses must have completed BSN fundamentals.

Responsabilités

• Training is provided to prepare our colleagues for success.
• Assists patients in completing ADLs including bathing, showering, toileting, positioning, turning, transferring, ambulation and feeding.
• Collects and sends specimens including blood and blood cultures and handles peripheral IV catheter insertion/removal; records data to meet documentation requirements.
