Job summary

Northwestern Memorial Hospital is seeking a Pre/Post-Op Clinical Nurse for the Feinberg PACU. This full-time, nights position is 0.9 FTE (36 hours per week) with three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am.

Minimum two years of ICU, PACU, or ER nursing experience is required. The PACU provides advanced patient care, supports professional development, and offers competitive benefits as part of Northwestern Medicine.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in nursing or higher.
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse license is required.
• Current ACLS recognition through the American Heart Association.
• Current CPR recognition (healthcare provider level) through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Post-operative nursing care in the Feinberg PACU following the nursing process.
• Advocate for patients and families, coordinating care with the Perioperative team.
• Maintain patient safety and compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
