Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Pre/Post-Op Clinical Nurse for the Feinberg PACU. The role requires at least two years of ICU, PACU, or ER nursing experience and supports a 0.9 FTE schedule with three 12-hour shifts, 7:00pm–7:30am, rotating days. Applicants must hold a current Illinois RN license, ACLS, CPR, and a BSN or higher.

Qualifications

• Two years of ICU, PACU, or ER nursing experience.
• Graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing program.
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or higher.
• Current Illinois RN license; ACLS and CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care in the PACU after anesthesia.
• Advocate for patient safety and coordinate with the care team.
• Participate in LEAD program to advance nursing practices.
• Maintain readiness for immediate post-anesthetic complications and discharge planning.
• Contribute to quality improvements and evidence-based care.
