Job summary

Altium Packaging in New Castle, PA is seeking a Production Packaging Associate for the 3rd shift (11:50pm-8:20am). The entry-level role involves proper packaging of materials and finished products, loading and moving materials, and operating packaging equipment while adhering to GMP and safety policies.

Responsibilities include monitoring conveyors, clearing jams, inspecting bottles, labeling, restocking packaging supplies, and moving finished goods to designated areas.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Basic computer experience.
• Prefer High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate I training within 90 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies.
• Monitors conveyors and clears bottle jams from lines.
• Picks up dropped bottles from production floor and places into designated bins.
• Inspects the quality of bottles during production, packaging, and labeling.
• Performs bottle inspections, such as drop tests for designated lines.
• Immediately escalates all bottle abnormalities, defects and quality issues when found.
• Maintains inventory levels and restocks packaging materials as needed to facilitate smooth transitions between shifts.
• Move finished goods to designated area and ensure correct labeling and packaging of product.
