Job summary

Zoetis is seeking a Packaging Specialist I to perform general pharmaceutical production tasks in a lean manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include inspection and packaging, material handling, and line setup with accuracy and efficiency. Strong attention to detail ensures quality products and complete documentation.

The role requires use of Microsoft applications, good organization, and adherence to safety culture. Shift is 10:00pm-6:30am with potential overtime and weekend work.

Qualifications

• Basic math, English communication skills, legible penmanship, and reading comprehension.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Basic use of Microsoft applications and general computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with batch records, SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot and make minor repairs on packaging equipment.
• Monitor, evaluate and adjust processes or equipment to maximize quality and efficiency.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all tasks completed.
• Perform all PO duties.
• Line clearances, material check-in, and operator care process.
• Understand escalation process, schedule attainment, batch records/PAS-X, and 5S.
• Navigate SAP and use Vorne / JOE.
• Understand operations of 1 full line (approx. 5 pieces of equipment).
• Provide leadership to line operators as well as effectively communicate with support personnel and leadership.
• Work together as a team to maintain production schedule and objectives.
