Job summary

Zoetis Michigan is seeking a detail-oriented Packaging Specialist to join our lean manufacturing packaging team. This role involves inspecting and packing products, handling materials, and setting up lines with accuracy and efficiency in a safety-minded environment.

You will follow batch records, SOPs, and quality guidelines, maintain documentation, and work with line operators to meet production goals. Require a high school diploma, basic math, and strong mechanical skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Basic math, English communication, legible handwriting and reading comprehension.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills and general computer literacy.
• Strong interpersonal communication and positive attitude.
• Mechanical reasoning and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience with hand tools and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tasks follow batch records, SOPs, safety guidelines and CGMPs.
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on packaging equipment.
• Monitor and adjust processes to maximize quality and efficiency.
• Maintain complete, accurate task documentation.
• Provide leadership to line operators and communicate with support staff.
• Collaborate to meet production schedules and achieve objectives.
