Job summary

Zoetis seeks a Packaging Specialist to join our manufacturing team in Kilgore, TX. This role involves inspecting and packaging products, material handling, line setup, and maintaining quality with right-first-time accuracy in a lean manufacturing environment.

The candidate should have a high attention to detail, familiarity with cGMPs, and basic Microsoft Office skills. The position requires flexible hours, occasional overtime, and a safety-minded, continuous-improvement culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year experience in packaging.
• Basic math and English communication skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Basic use of Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with applicable batch records, SOPs and safety guidelines, as well as CGMP standards.
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on packaging equipment.
• Monitor, evaluate and adjust processes or equipment to maximize quality and efficiency.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all tasks completed.
• Perform all PO duties.
• Line clearances, material check-in, and operator care process.
• Understand escalation process, schedule attainment, batch records/PAS-X, and 5S.
• Navigate SAP and use Vorne / JOE.
• Understand operations of 1 full line (approx. 5 pieces of equipment).
• Provide leadership to line operators and communicate with support personnel and leadership.
• Work as a team to maintain production schedule and objectives.
• Other duties as assigned.
