Job summary

SYSCO is seeking a Night Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the dock and cooler operations on the night shift. You will supervise material handlers, selectors, and pullers, ensuring safe, efficient processes and adherence to SOPs.

You will coach outbound associates, monitor performance, and manage labor hours within budget while coordinating with sales, purchasing, and inventory control to maintain accuracy and quality on orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of operations/warehouse experience in shipping and receiving perishable products.
• Ability to supervise, motivate and train hourly employees.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily dock and cooler processes.
• Coach and develop outbound associates.
• Monitor work and enforce safety requirements.
• Issue disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Interpret company policies and conduct pre-shift meetings.
• Manage labor hours and consumables within budget.
• Prepare work schedules and coordinate item substitutions.
• Communicate with sales, purchasing, and inventory control.
• Spot-check orders for accuracy and quality.
• Pull/verify critical care orders; inspect equipment daily.
