You will coach associates, monitor safety and process adherence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize store performance. The role emphasizes leadership, daily coaching, and operational excellence to deliver SMART customer service and sales results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED General Studies or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable.
• 5 years of experience in a retail environment or equivalent.
• Experience providing direction or supervision to teams.
• Experience training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Oversees front-end operations including checkouts, returns, and desk activities.
• Ensures appropriate headcount in checkout and administrative areas.
• Drives customer service excellence and handles inquiries and complaints.
• Manages payroll closeout process and associates’ day-to-day coaching.
• Leads night and back-end operations to maintain stock, safety and efficiency.
• Walks the store to observe interactions and provides in-the-moment coaching.
• Partners with senior management/HR on associate relations concerns.
