Job summary
AdventHealth in Tampa, FL, seeks an experienced Nursing Supervisor to coordinate staffing and resources for night shifts, ensuring adherence to patient care standards. The role requires an RN with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 3+ years of leadership experience. Strong Cerner experience and English communication are essential.
Qualifications
- RN with Bachelor’s of Nursing; BLS and ACLS required.
- 3+ nursing experience including supervisory/charge nurse roles.
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR and basic office software.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate resources to address unanticipated hospital situations.
- Supervise staff, suspend for misconduct, document infractions and performance issues.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and nursing care standards; perform rounds and reassign staff as needed.
