Job summary

Fairmount Behavioral Health System in Philadelphia seeks a Night PRN Nurse Supervisor to join the Nursing Leadership Team, overseeing nursing services in the absence of the ADON/CNO. Night shifts typically evenings, nights and weekends, with administrative guidance for campus operations.

The role emphasizes leadership, crisis management, staff training, and performance evaluation under CNO/ADON supervision, ensuring patient safety and quality care across units.

Qualifications

• Staff must demonstrate flexibility for reassignment to units providing care to varied populations including adolescents and adults.
• 1 year of inpatient psychiatric experience with adults and/or adolescents preferred
• 1 year of progressive experience in management and/or supervision

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and role modeling for assigned staff.
• Supervises direct patient care, assessments and crisis management.
• Ensures environmental safety for the patient population.
• Provide training and education to staff, patients, and families.
• Under supervision of CNO/ADON, conduct performance evaluation of designated staff.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Current Pennsylvania State Registered Nurse License

Current CPR Certification

Bachelor's degree preferred
