Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN required.
• Five years clinical experience including charge or management.
• Good verbal/written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills
• Current Pennsylvania State Nursing license.
• CPR and ACLS required.
• PALS required within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff for weekend, evening and night shifts to ensure safe, effective care.
• Represent administration for problem solving and decision making hospital-wide on off shifts.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with JCAHO and DOH standards.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and policy input.
