Job summary

MeadowWood Behavioral Health Hospital in New Castle, Delaware, is seeking an RN Supervisor for PRN Night shifts (7p-7a) to lead nursing operations and ensure safe, compassionate care for residents.

This role emphasizes staffing coordination, regulatory adherence, mentoring staff, and delivering high-quality behavioral health nursing. A BSN is preferred and current Delaware RN license is required; night shift differential applies with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of the facility required.
• Greater than 1 year RN experience strongly preferred.
• 1 year RN experience in any setting required.
• 1 year in psychiatric/recovery programs preferred.
• Experience as a charge RN or leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day nursing operations and ensure adequate staffing.
• Lead on-shift for admissions and discharges and communicate changes to physicians.
• Mentor and train staff; coach as needed to ensure quality care.
• Ensure compliance with professional, regulatory, and governmental standards.
• Document medical and behavioral health information and nursing care.
• Administer medications and maintain records per policies.
