Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Clinical Decisional Unit in Chicago, IL for night shifts. The role is full-time (36 hours/week) with 7:00 PM–7:30 AM hours, including every other weekend and rotating holidays. May float to other inpatient units as needed.

The department monitors patients for up to 16 hours to determine discharge or admission. A fast-paced hospital environment and strong nursing skills are essential for providing high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• One year of staff nurse experience preferred.
• Cardiac Telemetry experience preferred.
• Critical Care experience is preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Demonstrates mastery of nursing skills.
• Current Illinois Nursing licensure.
• American Heart Association CPR Certification.
• American Heart Association ACLS Certification required within 3 months of hire.
• NIHSS Certification within one month of hire.
• PALS, NRP may be required within six months depending on unit requirements.
