Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS/CPR.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage patient care.
• Basic computer skills; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of patients, utilizing evidence-based practice; assists provider with assessment, examinations and treatments; perform basic medical procedures under supervision.
• Administer medications under provider direction according to policies and guidelines.
• Assist in emergency situations under provider direction.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses and procedures.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately and completely.
• Assume responsibility for care provided and documented by others as appropriate.
