Job summary

Mount Carmel East in Columbus, Ohio, part of Trinity Health, is seeking Registered Nurses for the Neuro Intermediate Care Unit. The RN will provide compassionate, evidence-based care in a 32-bed unit, with night shift options and opportunities for certification after years of service.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Ohio.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Ability to plan, organize and manage patient care, including delegation.
• Basic computer skills; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group, using evidence-based practice.
• Assist provider with patient assessments, examinations, and treatments; perform basic procedures under supervision.
• Administer medications according to standards and guidelines.
• Respond to emergencies and educate patients and families about procedures.
• Document assessments and interventions accurately in the medical record.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, quality patient care.
