Job summary

Wellstar is seeking an MRI Technologist for night shifts to perform advanced imaging with a focus on patient safety, comfort and high-quality results. You will position patients, operate MRI equipment and collaborate with the radiology team to ensure accurate studies.

The role requires an accredited Medical Technology program, ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, and strong communication and teamwork abilities. BLS is required and Wellstar offers comprehensive Total Rewards.

Qualifications

• Accredited Medical Technology program completion.
• Current ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification with BLS.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain complete clinical data and patient history.
• Position patient and operate MRI equipment according to protocol.
• Ensure patient safety, privacy and comfort during procedures.
• Verify patient identity and study accuracy before transmission.
• Review images for quality and document pre/post procedure steps.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to meet department needs.
