• Accredited MRI program completed; minimum 1 year experience.

• Competence in MRI procedures, patient positioning, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Obtains complete clinical history, gathers data, and assesses contraindicating conditions.
• Follows procedures for contrast administration to protect patient safety.
• Ensures proper patient identification and reviews images for quality.
• Responds to emergencies and assists other technologists.
• Sets up equipment and positions patients for imaging.
