La Frontera Center Inc. is hiring an Overnight Crisis Specialist for EMPACT in Tempe, AZ.

The role provides direct crisis services across home, office, school, and community settings, with a focus on de‑escalation, transportation support, and coordination with health care providers. You’ll document care and maintain records, collaborate with internal teams and external partners, and participate in supervision and ongoing trainings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field preferred.
• Associate degree with two years full-time behavioral health experience acceptable.
• High School Diploma/GED with four years full-time behavioral health experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct crisis services in home, office, school and community settings.
• Maintain client records per agency policies and ensure documentation quality.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and refer clients as needed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with state and community partners for continuity of care.
• Adhere to agency standards of care and participate in supervision and training.
• Possess safe driving practices and report vehicle incidents.
• Guide new staff or interns in intervention and documentation processes.
