Qualifications

• At least eighteen years of age and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
• Positive, energetic attitude toward residents.
• Basic computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
• Must be physically active with the role's demands (standing, walking, bending).
• Ability to frequently lift/move items up to 50 pounds and assist residents after a fall.

Responsibilities

• Be an advocate of empathy and create human connection during vulnerable moments.
• Act as a patient observer to tailor engagement plans for residents.
• Masters of mise en scène: set the stage for daily routines and events.
• Life partner: support residents from wake to sleep across daily activities.
• Document resident care and changes in condition accurately.
• Assist orientation of memory care team members.
