Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Medication Technician for the Ivy Park at Otay Ranch community in California. Shifts: nights, 10:00pm–6:30am; pay range $17.50–$18.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include administering medications, coordinating with pharmacies and physicians, and maintaining resident records. Requirements include a minimum of 18 years old, a high school diploma (LVN a plus), and 1 year of medication assistance experience in RCFE settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience assisting with medication in RCFE or similar setting.
• State regulations may require completion of training/certification.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN considered a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with resident, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, confidential medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe environment and follow safety standards.
• Promote teamwork across departments.
