Job summary

Oakmont Management Group's Ivy Park at Sacramento is seeking a Medication Technician to supervise and assist in administering medications to residents in a premier senior living community. You will work with nursing, housekeeping, and maintenance to promote resident well-being.

Qualifications

• One year of experience assisting with medication at a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE).
• State regulations may require completion of training/certification.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacies, and physicians.
• Order and track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe environment following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with staff and other departments.
