Job summary

Ivy Park at Wood Ranch, part of Oakmont Management Group, seeks a Medication Technician to supervise and assist in administering medications to residents in accordance with nursing standards and company policies.

The role includes preparing and distributing medications, coordinating with residents, pharmacies, and physicians, and maintaining accurate medication records while promoting a safe, caring environment. Experience with RCFE preferred; state training may be required.

Qualifications

• One year of experience assisting with medication at a RCFE preferred.
• State regulations may require training/certification.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacies, and physicians.
• Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests.
