Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Medication Aide for Providence Village in Waco, TX. Nights, full-time role supports an Assisted Living department with direct patient care and medication administration under nurse supervision.

You will monitor residents' vital signs, maintain accurate records, restock supplies, and respond to emergencies to protect resident safety. A CNA license in the state and a Medication Aide credential are required.

Qualifications

• Medication Aide required prior to hire date or transfer date.
• Certified Nursing Assistant licensure relevant to state in which work is performed required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under nurse supervision while maintaining accurate medical records and restocking inventories.
• Monitor vital signs and track patient responses to detect, document, and report any adverse reactions.
• Provide direct patient care, ensure resident safety, and initiate immediate corrective action during emergencies.
