• Licensure/certification: MT/MLS/AMT must be obtained within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Performs, evaluates and monitors laboratory tests per protocols.
• Evaluates results for clinical significance and reports appropriately.
• Performs calibration and maintenance of instruments; troubleshoots issues.
• Ensures proper specimen labeling and collection per protocol.
• Provides training and support to staff and students.
• Improves quality and efficiency of procedures while meeting accrediting standards.
