Job summary

City Wide is seeking a Night Manager to oversee contract compliance for our designated building maintenance accounts in the Norfolk area and manage the relationship between City Wide and independent cleaning contractors.

This full-time, evening/overnight role suits someone with strong people-management skills and a background in facilities or janitorial services, with opportunities to grow into account management or operations leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in commercial janitorial or facilities services is a plus.
• Prior supervisory experience including coaching, motivating, and leading a team across multiple sites.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel locally to client sites; valid driver's license and reliable vehicle recommended.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods during site visits.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with independent contractors by communicating client priorities and collaborating on solutions.
• Review scope-of-work documents and conduct quality inspections to retain accounts and support growth.
• Send nightly recap reports and escalate urgent issues to the Facility Services Manager.
• Handle customer complaints, new account start-ups, and special client requests.
• Enforce company policies on cleaning standards, tools, and equipment use.

• - Send nightly recap reports and elevate urgent issues to the Facility Services Manager.
• - Handle customer complaints, new account start-ups, and special client requests.
• - Enforce company policies on cleaning standards, tools, and equipment use.
• - High school diploma or equivalent; additional experience in commercial janitorial or facilities services is a plus.
