Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to provide operational leadership to hourly associates and driver teams, ensuring execution of daily tasks including loading/unloading, cross-docking and customer service while meeting service and cost objectives.

You will supervise processes, assist in hiring, review runs, and manage attendance, safety, and compliance. The shift is Tue–Sat 8:30 PM–6:00 AM in Stockton, CA.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years related functional experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelors Degree preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication and organizational skills.
• Advanced computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel and work the specified schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly workforce and driver operations to meet cost goals.
• Schedule workforce and equipment; enforce safety and quality.
• Review orders and dispatch to optimize private fleet use.
• Hire process involvement; conduct interviews; provide coaching.
• Ensure accurate records, reports, and compliance.
• Address performance issues and discipline as needed.
